At 3233 Pacific Avenue you will find another Maybeck design. Constructed in 1909 for Samuel Goslinsky, is located in the 3200 block of Pacific Avenue. Here is a house covered in shingles and with pieces of slate as roofing. This rather coarse exterior hides the refined and elegant interior. This neighborhood is known for the architectural works of Bernard Maybeck, Ernest Coxhead and Willis Polk. Their styles blend to create a truly architecturally unique neighborhood. There are no high-rises here. A large number of the homes have magnificent views either the Presidio or San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Laurel Heights
Laurel Heights is known for its delightful homes. This upper middle class neighborhood is well liked by young professionals with families. The structural design in Laurel Heights is distinctly influenced by the 1050s and 1960s and looks completely different than the Victorian neighborhood of Presidio Heights just a block to the north. The Laurel Village shopping center is the main commercial area here and it attracts local residents as well as the more trendy customers from upscale Presidio Heights and Pacific Heights to the banks, java joints and shops that handle clothing for the very young. These homes have some great views of the city offering a mix of building structures.
Laurel Heights is bounded by Mayfair Drive to the north, Laurel Street to the east, Euclid Avenue to the south and Spruce Street to the west.

Jordan Park
Jordan Park’s elegant homes are attractive and with sound design elements and the attention given to landscaping is first rate. The homes here have design styles that reflect everything from Arts & Crafts to Mediterranean. This neighborhood is home to many of the doctors who work at the nearby Children's Hospital. As with Laurel Heights itself the main shopping area near here is Laurel Village where you can find fabulous java joints, delis and eateries. Most of the homes in the Jordan Park neighborhood are single-family units with a few condos to be found.
