Homes in the Oceanview area are interspersed with dated Victorian style houses and a number of little churches. A handful of the original cottages that were first built here can still be found on St. Charles Street and Belle Avenue. Those little homes that still exist for that era were well taken care of and are in good shape today. This area is a working class neighborhood and while it does have some
shopping available in the neighborhood and more being constructed, main shopping would be found in the adjacent Lakeside neighborhood in the Stonestown area. The Oceanview neighborhood is bounded by Grafton Avenue to the north, San Jose Avenue to the east, the San Francisco County line to the south and Junipero Serra Boulevard to the west.

Ocean View Park
This little park is located on an incline and consists of a terraced playground, green space, ball field, tennis courts, basketball courts, a rec center, and a sandy play area with climbing structures. It is bounded by Montana Street to the north, Plymouth Avenue to the east, Lobos Avenue to the south and Capitol Avenue to the west.

Ocean View Village
Ocean View Village is the newest development in the Oceanview neighborhood. It is a blend of contemporary city styles and planning for sensible living. In this new well-planned project you will find open outdoor spaces that highlight the well cared for yards, floral patches and graceful fountains. All these elements are created to craft tranquil, natural surroundings with contemporary crisp style, highlighted by the zen-like stone and rock gardens.

The homes of Ocean View Village offer you the total residential living experience that includes complete bazaar just steps from your home. Shopping here includes the most modern grocery store, pharmacy, health and fitness facility and a number of other small unique shops. If you are a movie buff you will be able to get your fix at a state of the art theater just blocks from your home.

The Village is bounded by Alemany Boulevard to the north, Worchester Avenue to the east, Highway 280 to the south and St. Charles Avenue to the west.
