The Bush Iraq War, was it a blunder, a planned invasion for oil or a humanitarian strike for democracy? Is the “Bush Oil For Blood Program” a true earth-shaking echo of democracy or is it just another tentacle of Corporate Greed? As I can see it the following points are legitimate areas for examination.
1. Is the Bush Blunder Of Thunder a planned invasion?
Advisors were regularly fired when they did not agree with the Bush Administration’s superficial analysis of the prewar Iraq situation. More advisors were let go when they questioned the growing disaster because of poor planning, under equipping and under manning of the Iraq invasion that was obviously aimed at occupying the country.
Perhaps the US military was unable to see it coming or perhaps the Bush administration was still in its six-shooter diplomacy phase, or perhaps the corporate pressure to invade the country (plan to divide the oil fields and requests for bids to rebuild Iraq were in place before first bomb was dropped) caused Bush and the military to ignore the obvious.
Would a poorly trained, poorly equipped army that was decimated by the United States in a previous war stand and go face to face with the US invasion or, as America did in its revolution, would the army fade into the woodwork and do every thing possible to purge the country of the invaders? When America fought from behind trees they were criticized for not following the “rules of war”. The “rules” established to this day by the most powerful military organizations to tip the scales totally in their favor. What is the difference between a man strapping on a vest of explosives and blowing himself up in a crowd killing hundreds of innocent people or a plane dropping thousands of pounds of bombs on neighborhoods where innocent men, women and children live killing thousands of innocent people? To me there is no difference; the plane is capable of killing more people. I think both are wrong and both are horrors of war. The phrase “collateral damage” is just a newspeak phrase designed to get us to embrace the horror of war.
2. Was it “Weapons Of Mass Destruction” or is it “Bush Weapons Of Mass Deception”?
The White House called off the search for the not existent weapons of mass destruction on January 12, 2005, long after the professionals who searched for them said they do not exist, long after the CIA and other US organizations told the administration the weapons did not exist? What about Bush awarding Tenet and Bremer, who perpetrated this hoax, the Medal Of Freedom, why reward deception? Unless of course everything you do is based on deception and fear.

Before the Blitzkrieg style invasion of Iraq a ruthless dictator brutally ruled the country with a military made up mostly of the Sunni Arab minority. During his cold-blooded reign it is estimated that Hussein killed between 150,000 and 300,000 Iraqis. Since the Bush War For Oil began it is estimated that almost 150,000 Iraqis have been killed and it appears the number who will die will only stop when Bush gets full control of the oil he wants.
4. Bush Establishes Terrorist Stronghold
Before the poorly planned invasion of Iraq by George W. Bush the iron fisted rule of Saddam Hussein kept the country under control. A special group of semi-military protected the infrastructure of oil wells and pipelines while a deadly mish mash of trained and untrained, equipped and poorly equipped military personnel kept extremist Moslem elements out of the country and held the country and the second largest oil reserve in the world safe from extremist control. Under the Bush make no plan invasion the country is now infiltrated with large numbers of Moslem extremists with the US military strained to hold the country with an inadequate occupation force. This misdirected consumption of US military personnel, equipment and budget is a huge strain on the real war on terror, as the free roaming Osama bin Laden will attest.
